On Pace is a workout-tracking app built on Apple Health. This policy explains what information On Pace accesses, how it's used, and — just as importantly — what On Pace does not do.
No account, no server
On Pace does not require you to create an account, and it does not have a server to send your data to, so it's never transmitted anywhere. Everything the app does happens on your device.
Health data
With your permission, On Pace reads distance-based workout data (such as distance, duration, and pace) from Apple Health so it can show that data back to you — in the app and in its Home Screen widgets. On Pace never writes any data back to Apple Health, and does not read any Apple Health data beyond workouts.
On Pace does not use your health data for advertising or marketing, does not sell it, and does not share it with data brokers or other third parties. It is used solely to provide the app's own features to you.
Purchases
On Pace offers a free trial and paid unlock options (subscriptions and a one-time purchase) through Apple's App Store. All payment information is handled entirely by Apple — On Pace never sees or stores your payment details. On Pace only learns whether you're entitled to use the app, not any financial information about how you paid.
What On Pace does not do
- No analytics or tracking SDKs
- No advertising or ad networks
- No third-party frameworks of any kind
- No collection of your name, email, or contacts
- No location tracking
Local storage
On Pace stores a small amount of data on your device — such as your trial or purchase status — so the app and its widgets work correctly. This data stays on your device and in your iCloud-synced Apple Health store; On Pace has no way to access it from anywhere else.
Children's privacy
On Pace does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children, because On Pace does not collect information at all in the sense of gathering, storing remotely, or transmitting it off your device.
Changes to this policy
If On Pace's practices change, this page will be updated before that change ships, with a new "Last updated" date above.
